About The Position
Cleveland Brothers, the largest Cat® dealer in Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia and western Maryland, has an immediate opportunity for a Transportation Coordinator. Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc., your local Caterpillar dealership, is looking for a highly motivated self-starter to join our growing team of established and successful professionals.
Requirements
- Previous dispatching/coordinating experience
- Familiarity with DOT hauling regulations
- Proficient software skills
- Positive outlook, proactive communications skills, and high level of self-motivation
- Develop and maintain internal and external relationships
- Ability to work in fast paced team environment
- Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor Degree preferred or a combination of education and experience acceptable to the company
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and dispatch trucks/trailers for on-time deliveries and pickups
- Update and provide tracking information to customers and internal personnel
- Monitor and report driver issues such as accidents, safety concerns and progress to management
- Analyze transportation costs and recommend most cost effective methods
- Manage quoting process with outside haulers
- Apply for permits for internal drivers
- Accurate invoicing internal and external
