Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a dynamic and talented PRN Transportation Coordinator! Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is a provider of quality psychiatric treatment services for adults, children and adolescents. Our outpatient services are a convenient drive to areas in Hinds County, Madison County and Rankin County. We also provide inpatient services for those who need more structured treatment. Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is a 120-bed acute psychiatric care facility located in Flowood, Mississippi. We are accredited by the Joint Commission of Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and certified by Medicare, Medicaid and TRICARE®. We provide psychiatric treatment for depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, schizophrenia, phobia and more. It is important these issues get treated so individuals are able to lead a healthy and happy life. Job Summary: The Transportation Coordinator receives transport requests, assigns/dispatches Driver/MHT routes, assists in the supervision of transportation staff, coordinates with maintenance to ensure upkeep of fleet, and provides transportation of patients to and from the facility with continuous observation, interaction, and an overall pleasant experience while always maintaining safety. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience in patient transportation working with children/adolescents, geriatric, and/or adults with emotional, behavioral, and/or developmental disabilities required.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in related field preferred
  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience in patient transportation working with children/adolescents, geriatric, and/or adults with emotional, behavioral, and/or developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities
