About The Position
The Training Analyst supports training compliance for correctional officers by managing and analyzing training data, auditing records, and providing administrative and executive support. The role uses the Learning Management System (LMS) to check whether officers meet state-required training standards and helps maintain accurate, complete training documentation. It also supports staff training and development projects, performs quality assurance, tracks self-development activities, and reports on compliance, training effectiveness, and quality trends.
Requirements
- Proven experience in data analysis, project management, and administrative support.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet strict deadlines.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Nice To Haves
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, data analysis, criminal justice, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in a compliance role within a regulatory or training environment is highly advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Use the Learning Management System (LMS) to mine and analyze data and verify that officers meet state-required training standards.
- Audit customer-submitted information for accuracy and completeness and ensure compliance with state minimum training requirements.
- Assist with projects related to staff training and development in coordination with the Training Division.
- Perform quality assurance checks on training delivery and documentation.
- Monitor and report on staff development, including tracking hours spent on self-development activities.
- Produce detailed reports and analyses related to training compliance and effectiveness.
- Track and report quality assurance trends in the LMS to support continuous improvement and compliance.
- Create and implement quality assurance measures to assess and report on specialized and major training events.
