About The Position

Bear Creek Golf Club is looking for friendly, dependable team members to support golf tournaments, banquets, and private events. This hands-on role includes food and beverage service, event setup and breakdown, and barback support as needed. We aim to create a great experience for every guest—from the first welcome to the final toast.

Requirements

A friendly, upbeat attitude and a genuine interest in taking care of guests.
Dependability, teamwork, and a willingness to jump in where needed.
Clear communication and the ability to stay organized during busy events.
Availability for event schedules that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to work on your feet, carry service items, and assist with event setup in indoor and outdoor settings, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Willingness to complete required food safety and alcohol service training, as applicable.

Nice To Haves

Customer service, banquet, restaurant, or barback experience is a plus.
A willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests, assist with seating, and provide friendly, attentive service throughout each event.
Set up tables, chairs, linens, place settings, buffets, and service stations according to event requirements.
Serve food and beverages, replenish buffets and beverage stations, and keep guest areas clean and organized.
Stay attentive to guest needs, clear tables promptly, and communicate special requests or concerns to the event manager.
Assist bartenders with stocking beverages, ice, glassware, and supplies; clearing used glassware; and keeping bar areas clean and ready for service.
Work closely with the kitchen, bartenders, and event team to keep service organized and on schedule.
Assist with event breakdown, cleaning, and returning equipment and supplies to designated storage areas.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service procedures.
Take pride in the cleanliness and presentation of our pavilions, banquet spaces, and surrounding event areas.
