About The Position

Lambertville Station Restaurant and Inn, a member of Genesis Hospitality, is seeking a Banquet Server for its upscale venue. The role supports banquet events by preparing, setting up, maintaining, and resetting rooms according to event contracts and client needs. Servers provide attentive dining service, coordinate with the Event Manager, and maintain venue equipment, safety, and cleanliness.

Requirements

Experience is a plus but is not required.
High degree of service orientation, a positive attitude, and ability to multitask.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Dependable and reliable.
Outstanding people skills.
Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, guests, and management.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

Review Event Orders at the beginning of each shift to ensure rooms are set as contracted.
Prepare rooms before guests arrive, adjusting lighting, sound volume, and temperature as needed.
Communicate with the Event Manager about special needs or concerns.
Use, store, and maintain equipment properly.
Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness throughout the venue.
Set up and break down rooms.
Reset rooms for the next event when it is contracted within one day of the previous event; otherwise, set two sample tables for client tours.
Deliver items, fulfill guest needs, remove courses, replenish utensils, and refill glasses to maintain the dining experience.
Undertake reasonable tasks and secondary duties assigned by management.
Report punctually for shifts in the proper dress code.
Attend training and meetings as required.
