About The Position
Roost, adjacent to the Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh Downtown near Market Square, is hiring a part-time Banquet Server to work events at Roost. The role sets up and maintains meeting rooms and the ballroom for banquets, meetings, and other social functions; provides food and beverages; and responds to guest needs during events. The server replenishes supplies, refreshes rooms during breaks, and keeps banquet areas clean. The property is locally owned and operated by Piatt Hotel Group. Responsibilities
- Set up meeting rooms and the ballroom for banquets, meetings, and other social functions.
- Provide food and beverages for functions.
- Maintain and clean meeting rooms.
- Replenish supplies as needed or as ordered; pick up trash and wipe up spills.
- Respond to guest requests during meetings, replace supplies as needed, and ensure equipment functions properly.
- Refresh meeting rooms during breaks by placing clean glasses and filled water pitchers on tables and removing soiled items.
- Keep the banquet area clean and free of trash and food particles.
