About The Position

The Banquet Server safely and efficiently provides excellent customer service to banquet and event guests. The role helps create a positive guest experience through attentive, prompt, and professional food and beverage service, supporting guest satisfaction and loyalty. The server also prepares event spaces, maintains cleanliness and hygiene, and assists with event breakdown.

The position pays $16.00 per hour plus gratuity. Serving and/or setup experience is preferred, and employees must be of legal age to serve alcohol under state law.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setting up banquet rooms and event spaces, arranging tables, chairs, linens, place settings, and decorations according to event specifications.
• Ensure equipment, utensils, and silverware are clean, polished, and properly arranged; set up audiovisual equipment and lighting and confirm they are operational.
• Greet guests, escort them to assigned tables, and assist with seating as needed.
• Take food and beverage orders and use suggestive selling techniques to promote additional items or upgrades.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately in accordance with service standards and presentation guidelines.
• Anticipate guest needs and preferences and provide personalized attention.
• Respond courteously to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns, resolving issues or complaints professionally and empathetically.
• Clear tables, remove used dishes and utensils, and replenish supplies during events.
• Assist with event breakdown and cleanup, including removing linens, folding chairs, and dismantling decorations.
• Complete post-event cleaning and sanitation procedures in banquet areas.
