Title Specialist

RBGlobal•Carmel, IN

About The Position

The Title Specialist secures the documents needed to accompany applications to transfer vehicle title ownership. The role involves compiling and reviewing documentation, communicating with customers and vehicle owners, resolving problems and discrepancies, handling inbound calls and emails, and providing customer service. Compliance with state and buyer requirements is essential. Where IAA is authorized to process applications as a state processing authority, the Title Specialist may also work within those state systems. The position processes title documentation for insurance and remarketing customers, enters information from state-issued titles into IAA’s operating system, and helps prepare salvage vehicles for sale. It requires maintaining knowledge of title and salvage laws across multiple states, protecting confidential customer information, and following records-retention policies. The specialist follows established procedures under close supervisor direction, performs clerical and office support duties, and assists with other office functions as needed. IAA is a global marketplace for commercial assets and vehicles. The company’s platform supports the marketing and sale of total-loss, damaged, and low-value vehicles to buyers in more than 170 countries. The role is part of Yard Operations, a team that supports live auctions and includes administrative staff and customer service representatives.
