About The Position

RNR Tire Express is hiring a full-time Tire & Wheel Alignment Technician / Automotive Technician to mount, balance, align, and install tires and wheels. The role also assists with inventory and the day-to-day operation of the tire shop. Technicians use tire and balancing machines and help ensure shop safety, complete paperwork, and maintain inventory, products, tools, and equipment. Incoming merchandise must be labeled and organized. The stated average compensation is $16.00 to $23.00 per hour including bonuses; the company says it does not use flat-rate pay. RNR Tire Express is a national franchise retailer of tires and custom wheels, established in 2000, with more than 200 locations in 29 states. The company describes its culture as focused on serving customers and supporting employees with training and tools. The shop is closed on Sundays.

Requirements

Valid state driver's license with a clean driving history.
Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
Physical ability to perform typical tasks associated with the position.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience as a tire technician, wheel specialist, automotive technician, or wheel alignment technician.
Experience mounting, balancing, and installing tires and wheels; preferred but not required.
Organization and attention to detail, particularly when tracking inventory.
Safety-consciousness.
A service-oriented approach and motivation to exceed customer expectations.
Ability to work as part of a team.
