Tire Technician Part Time $1000 Sign on Bonus
About The Position
The Tire Technician assists members in selecting and purchasing tires, installs and repairs tires, completes tire bay documentation, and maintains tire bay policies and procedures. The role includes mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing tires; properly disposing of tires; and filling propane tanks when certified under DOT requirements. The technician maintains a clean, professional tire bay and waiting area, merchandises tire displays and automotive products, manages supplies, and uses available special-order tire programs and equipment appropriately. The position also requires providing knowledgeable service at the tire desk, completing scheduling data and sales and service documentation, following club policies and safety standards, and performing other assigned duties, including work in other departments. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills or willingness to learn basic computer skills.
- Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
- Ability to lift over 50 pounds with assistance.

- Prior tire installation experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist members with tire selection and purchases, including verifying tire sizes for vehicles.
- Install tires by mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing them; perform tire repairs as needed.
- Dispose of tires properly and fill propane tanks as needed when certified under DOT requirements.
- Maintain a clean, professional tire bay and waiting area; merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
- Provide knowledgeable service to members at the tire desk and coordinate with Home Office regarding member tire needs as needed.
- Maintain an accurate and complete supply inventory and appropriately use available special-order tire programs.
- Complete tire bay scheduling data and documentation for sales and service orders.
- Comply with safety, cleanliness, club policies, and procedures, and use tire bay equipment properly.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
- Support a safe, positive, inclusive, and respectful environment and deliver service consistent with GOLD Member Standards and club standards.
- Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
