Tire Sales Installation Part Time $1000 Sign On Bonus
About The Position
The Tire Sales Installation team member assists members in selecting and purchasing tires, installs and repairs tires, completes tire bay documentation, and follows tire bay policies and procedures. The role includes mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing tires; maintaining tire bay equipment, inventory, displays, and work areas; and providing knowledgeable service at the tire desk. The team member may also fill propane tanks if certified according to DOT requirements and perform other duties, including working in other departments as needed. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills or willingness to learn basic computer skills.
- Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
- Ability to lift over 50 pounds with assistance.
Nice To Haves
- Prior tire installation experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist members with tire selection and purchase, including verifying tire sizes for their vehicles.
- Mount, dismount, rotate, and balance tires; install and repair tires as needed.
- Properly dispose of tires and fill propane tanks according to club policy when certified per DOT requirements.
- Maintain a clean, professional tire bay and waiting area, and merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
- Provide knowledgeable service at the tire desk and coordinate with Home Office regarding member tire needs as needed.
- Maintain accurate supply inventory and use available special-order tire programs appropriately.
- Complete tire bay scheduling data and documentation for sales and service orders.
- Comply with safety and cleanliness standards and properly use tire bay equipment.
- Follow club policies and procedures and perform other assigned duties, including work in other departments as needed.
- Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
