About The Position

The Tire Sales and Installation team member assists members with selecting and purchasing tires, installs and repairs tires, completes tire bay documentation, and maintains tire bay policies and procedures. The role includes installing, mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing tires; maintaining a clean and professional tire bay and waiting area; merchandising tire displays and automotive products; and providing knowledgeable service at the tire desk. The team member maintains supply inventory, uses available special-order tire programs, completes scheduling data and sales and service order documentation, and coordinates with the Home Office about member tire needs as needed. The position may also involve filling propane tanks when certified under DOT requirements, disposing of tires properly, and performing other duties, including work in other departments. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function. Team members are expected to support club policies and compliance, provide excellent member service, contribute to a safe and inclusive environment, work collaboratively, and maintain daily club standards.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills or willingness to learn basic computer skills.
• Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds with assistance.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance.

Responsibilities

• Assist members in selecting and purchasing tires, including verifying tire sizes for vehicles.
• Install, mount, dismount, rotate, balance, and repair tires properly.
• Complete tire bay scheduling data and documentation for sales and service orders.
• Dispose of tires properly and fill propane tanks when certified under DOT requirements.
• Maintain a clean, professional tire bay and waiting area, and comply with safety and cleanliness standards.
• Merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
• Provide knowledgeable service to members at the tire desk.
• Coordinate with the Home Office regarding member tire needs as needed.
• Maintain accurate and complete supply inventory.
• Understand and appropriately use available special-order tire programs.
• Properly use tire bay equipment.
• Maintain club policies and procedures and support club compliance.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Provide excellent member service, address or escalate member concerns, and contribute to a safe and positive environment.
• Work collaboratively to achieve goals and maintain daily club standards.
