About The Position

Responsible for assisting members in selecting and purchasing tires, installing and repairing tires, completing tire bay documentation, and maintaining tire bay policies and procedures. The role also supports club policies and compliance, delivers member service, promotes a safe and positive environment, and works collaboratively to meet club standards and goals. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

The position involves tire installation and maintenance, member assistance at the tire desk, tire and automotive-product merchandising, inventory upkeep, and completing scheduling and sales or service documentation. Team members may also work in other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills or willingness to learn basic computer skills.
• Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds with assistance.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with selecting and purchasing tires, including verifying vehicle tire sizes.
• Install tires by mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing them; perform tire repairs as needed.
• Complete tire bay scheduling data and documentation for sales and service orders.
• Provide knowledgeable service to members at the tire desk and coordinate with the Home Office about member tire needs as needed.
• Maintain a clean and professional tire bay and waiting area, and merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
• Maintain an accurate and complete supply inventory.
• Use available special-order tire programs appropriately.
• Dispose of tires properly and fill propane tanks as needed if certified under DOT requirements.
• Comply with safety and cleanliness standards and use tire bay equipment properly.
• Maintain club policies and procedures and support compliance.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Deliver member service, address concerns, and help maintain a safe and positive environment.
• Work with the team to maintain club standards, including stocking items, executing promotional plans, maintaining accurate signage, and keeping the club clean and organized.
