About The Position

The Tire Sales and Installation team member assists members with selecting and purchasing tires, installs and repairs tires, completes required tire bay documentation, and maintains tire bay policies and procedures. The role includes mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing tires; maintaining equipment, inventory, displays, and the tire bay; and providing knowledgeable service at the tire desk. Team members may also fill propane tanks when appropriately certified and perform other duties, including working in other departments. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills or willingness to learn basic computer skills.
• Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds with assistance.

• Prior tire installation experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist members in selecting and purchasing tires, including verifying vehicle tire sizes.
• Mount, dismount, rotate, balance, install, and repair tires properly.
• Complete tire bay scheduling data and documentation for sales and service orders.
• Properly dispose of tires and fill propane tanks when certified per DOT requirements.
• Maintain a clean, professional tire bay and waiting area; merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
• Provide knowledgeable service to members at the tire desk and coordinate with Home Office about member tire needs as needed.
• Maintain accurate supply inventory and appropriately use available special-order tire programs.
• Comply with safety and cleanliness standards and properly use tire bay equipment.
• Maintain and follow club policies and procedures.
• Perform other assigned duties, including work in other departments as needed.
• Support club standards, member service, teamwork, and a safe and positive environment.
