About The Position

Responsible for assisting members in selecting and purchasing tires, properly installing and repairing tires, completing necessary tire bay documentation, and maintaining tire bay policies and procedures. The role also includes providing knowledgeable service at the tire desk, maintaining tire and automotive product displays, and following club safety, cleanliness, and operating standards.

Team members are expected to support club policies and compliance, act with honesty and integrity, prioritize members, and contribute to a safe, inclusive, respectful, and positive environment. They work collaboratively to meet goals, adapt to changing needs, and deliver GOLD Member and Club Standards through friendly service, accurate signage, stocked merchandise, and clean, organized spaces.

Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job. The position may also require performing duties in other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills or willingness to learn basic computer skills.
• Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
• Ability to lift over 30 pounds with assistance.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Responsibilities

• Assist members in selecting and purchasing tires, including verifying tire sizes for vehicles.
• Install tires, including mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing; repair tires as needed.
• Properly dispose of tires and fill propane tanks as needed when certified under DOT requirements.
• Maintain a clean and professional tire bay and waiting area; merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
• Provide knowledgeable service to members at the tire desk and coordinate with Home Office regarding member tire needs as needed.
• Maintain accurate and complete supply inventory and appropriately use available special-order tire programs.
• Complete tire bay scheduling data and documentation for sales and service orders.
• Comply with safety and cleanliness standards and properly use tire bay equipment.
• Maintain club policies and procedures and support their application and compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
• Deliver member service, address and deescalate member concerns, and contribute to a safe and positive experience.
• Help maintain GOLD Club Standards, including stocked items, executed promotional plans, visible and accurate signage, and clean, organized spaces.
• Understand how to access and read department production and/or financial performance reporting and how execution affects the business.
