About The Position

The Tire Sales & Installation team member assists members in selecting and purchasing tires, installs and repairs tires, completes tire bay sales and service documentation, and follows tire bay policies and procedures. The role includes maintaining a clean, safe, and professional work area; providing knowledgeable service; and supporting club operations and member concerns. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive vehicles with both automatic and manual transmissions.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills or willingness to learn basic computer skills.
• Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds with assistance.

Nice To Haves

• Prior tire installation experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with tire selection and purchases, including verifying tire sizes for vehicles.
• Mount, dismount, rotate, balance, install, and repair tires.
• Complete tire bay scheduling data and documentation for sales and service orders.
• Maintain a clean and professional tire bay and waiting area.
• Merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
• Provide knowledgeable service at the tire desk and coordinate with the Home Office about member tire needs as needed.
• Maintain an accurate and complete supply inventory and use available special-order tire programs appropriately.
• Dispose of tires properly and fill propane tanks as needed when certified under DOT requirements.
• Follow safety, cleanliness, club, and tire bay policies and procedures, and properly use tire bay equipment.
• Support member service, club standards, and team goals; address or escalate member concerns as appropriate.
• Perform other assigned duties, including work in other departments as needed.
