Tire Sales & Installation Team Member Part Time $1,000 Sign-On Bonus!
About The Position
The Tire Sales & Installation Team Member assists members with selecting and purchasing tires, installs and repairs tires, completes tire bay documentation, and maintains tire bay policies and procedures. The role includes mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing tires; maintaining the tire bay and waiting area; merchandising tire and automotive products; and keeping supply inventory accurate. Team members provide knowledgeable service at the tire desk, verify tire sizes for vehicles, use special-order tire programs appropriately, and coordinate with the Home Office about member tire needs when necessary. The position may also include filling propane tanks when properly certified and working in other departments as needed. Team members support club policies, procedures, compliance, safety, cleanliness, and GOLD Member and Club Standards. They are expected to provide friendly service, address member concerns, work collaboratively, maintain a positive environment, and attend work regularly and predictably. The job involves standing and moving continuously on hard surfaces, exposure to indoor and outdoor weather conditions, and working around moving vehicles, machinery, and potentially loud equipment. It may also involve occasional exposure to approved chemicals and cleaning agents.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills or willingness to learn basic computer skills.
- Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
- Ability to lift over 50 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities
- Assist members in selecting and purchasing tires, including verifying tire sizes for vehicles.
- Install tires by mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing them; perform tire repairs.
- Properly dispose of tires and fill propane tanks when certified in accordance with DOT requirements.
- Complete tire bay scheduling data and documentation for sales and service orders.
- Maintain a clean, professional tire bay and waiting area, and merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
- Provide knowledgeable service to members at the tire desk and coordinate with the Home Office about member tire needs as needed.
- Maintain accurate and complete supply inventory and use available special-order tire programs appropriately.
- Follow safety, cleanliness, club policy, and tire bay equipment requirements.
- Support club policies, procedures, compliance, GOLD Member Standards, and GOLD Club Standards.
- Address and deescalate member concerns, escalating concerns as appropriate.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
- Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
