About The Position

The Tire Technician assists members with selecting and purchasing tires, installs and repairs tires, completes tire bay documentation, and maintains tire bay policies and procedures. The role also includes providing knowledgeable service at the tire desk, maintaining inventory and displays, keeping the work area clean, and following safety and cleanliness standards. Team members are expected to support club policies and compliance, deliver excellent member service, work collaboratively, and help maintain the club’s GOLD standards.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive vehicles with both automatic and manual transmissions.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills or willingness to learn them.
• Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds with assistance.

• Prior tire installation experience.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, rotate, and balance tires; install tires properly.
• Dispose of tires properly and fill propane tanks when certified under DOT requirements and as needed.
• Maintain a clean, professional tire bay and waiting area.
• Merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
• Assist members with tire selection and purchases, including verifying vehicle tire sizes.
• Provide knowledgeable service to members at the tire desk.
• Coordinate with the Home Office regarding member tire needs as needed.
• Maintain an accurate and complete supply inventory.
• Understand and appropriately use available special-order tire programs.
• Complete tire bay scheduling data and documentation for sales and service orders.
• Follow safety, cleanliness, club policies, and procedures, and use tire bay equipment properly.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
• Deliver service excellence, address member concerns, and help provide a safe and positive environment.
• Work with the team to maintain daily GOLD club standards, including stocked items, accurate signage, and clean, organized spaces.
