About The Position

Responsible for helping members select and purchase tires, installing and repairing tires, completing tire bay documentation, and maintaining tire bay policies and procedures. The role also includes providing service at the tire desk, maintaining inventory and displays, and supporting club policies, safety, cleanliness, and service standards. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills or willingness to learn basic computer skills.
• Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds with assistance.

Nice To Haves

• Prior tire installation experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with selecting and purchasing tires, including verifying vehicle tire sizes.
• Mount, dismount, rotate, balance, install, and repair tires.
• Properly dispose of tires and fill propane tanks as needed when certified under DOT requirements.
• Maintain a clean and professional tire bay and waiting area; merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
• Provide knowledgeable service at the tire desk and coordinate with Home Office about member tire needs as needed.
• Maintain accurate supply inventory and use available special-order tire programs appropriately.
• Complete tire bay scheduling data and documentation for sales and service orders.
• Follow safety and cleanliness standards and use tire bay equipment appropriately.
• Maintain club policies and procedures and support members and coworkers in a safe, positive environment.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
