About The Position

The Tire Sales & Installation team member assists members in selecting and purchasing tires, installs and repairs tires, completes tire bay documentation, and maintains tire bay policies and procedures. The role includes installing, mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing tires; maintaining the tire bay and waiting area; and providing knowledgeable service at the tire desk. The team member may also fill propane tanks if certified under DOT requirements and may perform duties in other departments as needed.

The role requires consistent attendance and adherence to club policies, safety standards, cleanliness expectations, and member-service standards. Work takes place around moving vehicles, machinery, and potentially loud equipment, with exposure to indoor and outdoor weather conditions and occasional company-approved chemicals and strong smells. Most work involves standing and moving continuously on hard surfaces, with frequent bending, climbing, crawling, kneeling, pushing, pulling, reaching, stooping, and lifting.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills or willingness to learn basic computer skills.
• Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assist members in selecting and purchasing tires, including verifying tire sizes for vehicles.
• Install, mount, dismount, rotate, balance, and repair tires.
• Properly dispose of tires and fill propane tanks as needed when certified under DOT requirements.
• Maintain a clean, professional tire bay and waiting area; merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
• Provide knowledgeable service to members at the tire desk and coordinate with Home Office about member tire needs as needed.
• Maintain accurate supply inventory and appropriately use special-order tire programs.
• Complete tire bay scheduling data and documentation for sales and service orders.
• Comply with safety and cleanliness standards and properly use tire bay equipment.
• Maintain club policies and procedures and support club standards.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
