About The Position

Responsible for helping members select and purchase tires, installing and repairing tires, completing required tire bay documentation, and maintaining tire bay policies and procedures. The role also includes providing knowledgeable service at the tire desk, keeping the tire bay and waiting area clean and professional, maintaining inventory, and following safety and cleanliness standards. Team members may perform other duties or work in other departments as needed. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills or willingness to learn basic computer skills.
• Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds with assistance.

Nice To Haves

• Prior tire installation experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist members in selecting and purchasing tires, including verifying tire sizes for vehicles.
• Install tires, including mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing.
• Repair tires and properly dispose of tires.
• Fill propane tanks when needed if certified under DOT requirements, following club policy.
• Maintain a clean and professional tire bay and waiting area; merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
• Provide knowledgeable service to members at the tire desk and coordinate with Home Office regarding member tire needs as needed.
• Maintain accurate and complete supply inventory and appropriately use special-order tire programs.
• Complete tire bay scheduling data and documentation for sales and service orders.
• Follow club policies and procedures, safety standards, and cleanliness standards; properly use tire bay equipment.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
