About The Position

Responsible for assisting members in selecting and purchasing tires, installing and repairing tires, completing tire bay documentation, and maintaining tire bay policies and procedures. The role also includes supporting club policies and compliance, delivering friendly and knowledgeable member service, maintaining a safe and positive environment, and working with the team to meet club standards. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills or willingness to learn basic computer skills.
• Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds with assistance.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance.

• Prior tire installation experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with selecting and purchasing tires, including verifying vehicle tire sizes.
• Mount, dismount, rotate, balance, install, and repair tires.
• Dispose of tires properly and fill propane tanks when needed and certified under DOT requirements.
• Maintain a clean and professional tire bay and waiting area.
• Merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
• Provide knowledgeable service to members at the tire desk and coordinate with Home Office about member tire needs as needed.
• Maintain accurate and complete supply inventory.
• Use available special-order tire programs appropriately.
• Complete tire bay scheduling data and documentation for sales and service orders.
• Follow safety and cleanliness standards and properly use tire bay equipment.
• Maintain club policies and procedures and support policy compliance.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Deliver service excellence, address member concerns, and contribute to a safe and positive member experience.
• Work with the team to uphold daily GOLD standards, including stocking items, executing promotional plans, maintaining accurate signage, and keeping the club clean and organized.
• Understand how to access and read department production or financial performance reporting.
