About The Position

Responsible for assisting members in selecting and purchasing tires, properly installing and repairing tires, completing tire bay documentation, and maintaining tire bay policies and procedures. The role also supports club policies and compliance, provides excellent member service, maintains a safe and positive environment, and may perform duties in other departments as needed. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills or willingness to learn basic computer skills.
• Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds with assistance.

• Prior tire installation experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist members in selecting and purchasing tires, including verifying vehicle tire sizes.
• Install tires, including mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing; repair tires as needed.
• Complete tire bay scheduling data and documentation for sales and service orders.
• Properly dispose of tires and fill propane tanks when certified under DOT requirements.
• Maintain a clean and professional tire bay and waiting area, and merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
• Provide knowledgeable service to members at the tire desk and coordinate with Home Office about member tire needs as needed.
• Maintain accurate and complete supply inventory and use available special-order tire programs appropriately.
• Comply with safety and cleanliness standards and properly use tire bay equipment.
• Maintain club policies and procedures and support policy application and compliance.
• Deliver service excellence, address and deescalate member concerns, and help maintain a safe and positive member experience.
• Work with the team to uphold club standards, including stocking items, executing promotional plans, maintaining accurate signage, and keeping areas clean and organized.
• Understand how to access and read department production or financial performance reporting.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
