About The Position

Responsible for assisting members with selecting and purchasing tires, installing and repairing tires, completing tire bay sales and service documentation, and maintaining tire bay policies and procedures. The role includes providing knowledgeable service at the tire desk, maintaining a safe, clean, and professional work area, and supporting club policies, standards, and member service. Team members may perform other duties or work in other departments as needed. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills or willingness to learn basic computer skills.
• Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds with assistance.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Nice To Haves

• Prior tire installation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, rotate, and balance tires; perform other tire installation and repair tasks.
• Dispose of tires properly and fill propane tanks as needed when certified under DOT requirements.
• Maintain a clean, professional tire bay and waiting area; comply with safety and cleanliness standards and use tire bay equipment appropriately.
• Merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
• Help members select and purchase tires, including verifying vehicle tire sizes, and provide knowledgeable service at the tire desk.
• Coordinate with the Home Office regarding member tire needs as needed.
• Maintain an accurate and complete supply inventory.
• Understand and appropriately use available special-order tire programs.
• Complete tire bay scheduling data and documentation for sales and service orders.
• Follow club policies and procedures and support club standards and compliance.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Provide friendly, safe, and positive service to members and colleagues, address member concerns, and work collaboratively to achieve team goals.
