About The Position

Responsible for assisting members in selecting and purchasing tires, properly installing and repairing tires, completing tire-bay documentation, and maintaining tire-bay policies and procedures. The role also supports member service, club standards, safe operations, and other departments as needed. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills or willingness to learn basic computer skills.
• Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds with assistance.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance.

• Prior tire installation experience.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, rotate, and balance tires; repair tires as needed.
• Assist members in selecting and purchasing tires, including verifying vehicle tire sizes and providing knowledgeable service at the tire desk.
• Complete tire-bay scheduling data and documentation for sales and service orders.
• Dispose of tires properly and fill propane tanks as needed when certified under DOT requirements.
• Maintain a clean, professional tire bay and waiting area, and merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
• Maintain accurate and complete supply inventory and use available special-order tire programs appropriately.
• Coordinate with Home Office regarding member tire needs as needed.
• Comply with safety and cleanliness standards and use tire-bay equipment appropriately.
• Maintain club policies and procedures and perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Deliver friendly, safe, and positive member service; address or escalate member concerns.
• Work with the team to maintain club standards, including stocking items, executing promotional plans, maintaining accurate signage, and keeping areas clean and organized.
