About The Position

The Tire Sales and Installation Team Member assists members in selecting and purchasing tires, installs and repairs tires, completes tire bay sales and service documentation, and follows tire bay policies and procedures. The role also includes maintaining the tire bay and waiting area, managing supplies and displays, and providing knowledgeable service at the tire desk. Full open availability and regular, predictable attendance are required. The position may also involve working in other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills or willingness to learn them.
• Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds with assistance.
• Full open availability and regular, predictable attendance.

• Prior tire installation experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist members in selecting and purchasing tires, including verifying tire sizes for vehicles.
• Mount, dismount, rotate, balance, install, and repair tires as needed.
• Dispose of tires properly and fill propane tanks when needed if certified under DOT requirements.
• Maintain a clean, professional tire bay and waiting area, and merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
• Provide knowledgeable service at the tire desk and coordinate with Home Office about member tire needs as needed.
• Maintain accurate supply inventory and appropriately use available special-order tire programs.
• Complete tire bay scheduling data and documentation for sales and service orders.
• Comply with safety and cleanliness standards and properly use tire bay equipment.
• Follow club policies and procedures and perform other assigned duties, including work in other departments as needed.
• Deliver service excellence, address member concerns, and contribute to a safe, positive, inclusive environment.
• Support daily GOLD Member and Club Standards, including maintaining stocked items, promotional plans, accurate signage, and clean, organized spaces.
