Tire Sales and Installation Full Time $1000 Sign on Bonus
About The Position
BJ’s Wholesale Club is hiring a full-time Tire Sales and Installation team member. The role assists members with selecting and purchasing tires, installs and repairs tires, completes tire bay sales and service documentation, and follows tire bay policies and procedures. The position also includes maintaining the tire bay and waiting area, merchandising automotive products, managing supplies, and supporting club operations as assigned. The role emphasizes member service, safe and clean work practices, teamwork, integrity, and the club’s GOLD Member and Club Standards. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is paid in two installments: $500 after six months and $500 after 12 months.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills or willingness to learn basic computer skills.
- Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
- Ability to lift over 30 pounds with assistance.

- Prior tire installation experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist members with tire selection and purchases, including verifying tire sizes for vehicles.
- Mount, dismount, rotate, balance, install, and repair tires as appropriate.
- Dispose of tires properly and fill propane tanks when needed if certified under DOT requirements.
- Maintain a clean, professional tire bay and waiting area, and merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
- Provide knowledgeable service at the tire desk and coordinate with the Home Office regarding member tire needs as needed.
- Maintain accurate supply inventory and use available special-order tire programs appropriately.
- Complete tire bay scheduling data and documentation for sales and service orders.
- Follow safety, cleanliness, club, and tire bay policies and procedures, and use tire bay equipment appropriately.
- Support member service standards, address or escalate member concerns, and help maintain a safe and positive environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
- Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
