About The Position

Responsible for assisting members in selecting and purchasing tires, installing and repairing tires, completing tire bay documentation, and maintaining tire bay policies and procedures. The role provides knowledgeable service at the tire desk, supports a safe and positive member experience, maintains tire inventory and displays, and follows club safety, cleanliness, and operating standards. Team members may perform other duties or work in other departments as needed. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills or willingness to learn basic computer skills.
• Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds with assistance.

Nice To Haves

• Prior tire installation experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist members in selecting and purchasing tires, including verifying vehicle tire sizes.
• Install tires, including mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing.
• Repair tires and complete tire bay scheduling data and documentation for sales and service orders.
• Properly dispose of tires and fill propane tanks in accordance with club policy, if certified per DOT requirements.
• Maintain a clean and professional tire bay and waiting area.
• Merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
• Provide knowledgeable service to members at the tire desk.
• Coordinate with Home Office regarding member tire needs as needed.
• Maintain an accurate and complete supply inventory.
• Understand and appropriately use available special-order tire programs.
• Comply with safety and cleanliness standards and properly use tire bay equipment.
• Maintain club policies and procedures and support a safe, positive environment for members and team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
