About The Position

Responsible for assisting members in selecting and purchasing tires, installing and repairing tires, completing tire bay documentation, and maintaining tire bay policies and procedures. The role also supports club policies and compliance, provides friendly and knowledgeable member service, helps maintain a safe and positive environment, and works with the team to meet club standards and business goals. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills or willingness to learn basic computer skills.
• Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds with assistance.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

• Prior tire installation experience.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, rotate, and balance tires properly.
• Dispose of tires properly and fill propane tanks in accordance with club policy when certified per DOT requirements.
• Maintain a clean and professional tire bay and waiting area.
• Merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
• Provide knowledgeable service to members at the tire desk and assist with tire selection and purchase, including verifying vehicle tire sizes.
• Coordinate with Home Office regarding member tire needs as needed.
• Maintain an accurate and complete supply inventory.
• Understand and appropriately use available special-order tire programs.
• Complete tire bay scheduling data and documentation for sales and service orders.
• Comply with safety and cleanliness standards and properly use tire bay equipment.
• Maintain all club policies and procedures.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Support club standards, member service, teamwork, inclusion, and a safe and positive environment.
