About The Position

Responsible for assisting members in selecting and purchasing tires, properly installing and repairing tires, completing tire bay documentation, and maintaining tire bay policies and procedures. The role also supports club standards, member service, safety, and operations, and may include working in other departments as needed. The position requires regular, predictable, full attendance.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills or willingness to learn basic computer skills.
• Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds with assistance.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

• Prior tire installation experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with tire selection and purchase, including verifying vehicle tire sizes.
• Install tires, including mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing; repair tires as needed.
• Complete tire bay scheduling data and documentation for sales and service orders.
• Dispose of tires properly and fill propane tanks as needed if certified under DOT requirements.
• Maintain a clean, professional tire bay and waiting area; merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
• Provide knowledgeable service at the tire desk and use special-order tire programs appropriately.
• Coordinate with the Home Office regarding member tire needs as needed.
• Maintain accurate and complete supply inventory.
• Follow safety, cleanliness, club, and tire bay equipment policies and procedures.
• Support member service and GOLD standards, address or escalate member concerns, and contribute to a safe and positive environment.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
