About The Position

The Tire Sales & Installation Team Member assists members with selecting and purchasing tires, including verifying vehicle tire sizes, and provides knowledgeable service at the tire desk. The role installs and repairs tires, completes tire bay sales and service documentation, maintains inventory and tire bay procedures, and supports a safe, clean, and professional tire bay and waiting area. The team member may also fill propane tanks when certified according to DOT requirements, work in other departments as needed, and perform other assigned duties. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills or willingness to learn basic computer skills.
• Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds with assistance.

Nice To Haves

• Prior tire installation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with selecting and purchasing tires, including verifying vehicle tire sizes.
• Install tires by mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing them; perform tire repairs.
• Dispose of tires properly and fill propane tanks as needed when certified per DOT requirements.
• Maintain a clean and professional tire bay and waiting area; merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
• Provide knowledgeable service to members at the tire desk and coordinate with Home Office about member tire needs as needed.
• Maintain accurate supply inventory and use available special-order tire programs appropriately.
• Complete tire bay scheduling data and documentation for sales and service orders.
• Comply with safety and cleanliness standards and use tire bay equipment properly.
• Follow club policies and procedures, support compliance, and maintain GOLD club standards.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
