About The Position

The Tire Sales & Installation team member assists members in selecting and purchasing tires, installs and repairs tires, completes tire bay documentation, and maintains tire bay policies and procedures. The role also includes filling propane tanks when certified under DOT requirements, maintaining supplies and displays, and keeping the tire bay and waiting area clean and professional. Team members provide knowledgeable service, follow club policies and safety standards, and may work in other departments as needed. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills or willingness to learn basic computer skills.
• Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
• Ability to lift over 30 pounds with assistance.

• Prior tire installation experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist members in selecting and purchasing tires, including verifying tire sizes for vehicles.
• Install tires by mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing them; perform tire repairs.
• Dispose of tires properly and fill propane tanks as needed when certified under DOT requirements.
• Maintain a clean, professional tire bay and waiting area; merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
• Provide knowledgeable service at the tire desk and coordinate with Home Office about member tire needs as needed.
• Maintain an accurate and complete supply inventory and use available special-order tire programs appropriately.
• Complete tire bay scheduling data and documentation for sales and service orders.
• Comply with tire bay safety and cleanliness standards and use tire bay equipment properly.
• Maintain club policies and procedures and support club standards and member service expectations.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
