About The Position

Responsible for assisting members in selecting and purchasing tires, installing and repairing tires, completing tire bay documentation, and maintaining tire bay policies and procedures. The role also supports club policies and compliance, provides excellent member service, maintains a safe and positive environment, and works with the team to meet club standards and goals.

The position includes mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing tires; maintaining the tire bay and waiting area; merchandising tire and automotive products; maintaining inventory; and completing scheduling data and documentation for tire sales and service orders. Team members may perform other duties or work in other departments as needed.

The position pays $17.50–$21.88 per hour. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is noted in the job title; eligibility terms are not provided.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills or willingness to learn basic computer skills.
• Pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assist members in selecting and purchasing tires, including verifying tire sizes for vehicles.
• Install tires, including mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing; perform tire repairs as needed.
• Properly dispose of tires and fill propane tanks when certified and as required by club policy.
• Maintain a clean and professional tire bay and waiting area.
• Merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
• Provide knowledgeable service to members at the tire desk.
• Coordinate with the Home Office about member tire needs as needed.
• Maintain an accurate and complete supply inventory.
• Understand and use available special-order tire programs appropriately.
• Complete tire bay scheduling data and documentation for sales and service orders.
• Comply with safety and cleanliness standards and properly use tire bay equipment.
• Maintain club policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
