About The Position

Responsible for assisting members in selecting and purchasing tires, properly installing and repairing tires, completing required tire bay documentation, and maintaining tire bay policies and procedures. The role also includes filling propane tanks when certified, maintaining tire displays and automotive products, keeping the tire bay and waiting area clean, and supporting club policies, safety standards, and member service expectations. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license and ability to drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Basic computer skills or willingness to learn basic computer skills.
Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
Ability to lift over 50 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

Assist members with tire selection and purchase, including verifying tire sizes for their vehicles.
Mount, dismount, rotate, balance, install, and repair tires.
Properly dispose of tires and fill propane tanks in accordance with club policy when certified under DOT requirements.
Maintain a clean, professional tire bay and waiting area; merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
Provide knowledgeable service at the tire desk and coordinate with Home Office regarding member tire needs as needed.
Maintain accurate supply inventory and appropriately use available special-order tire programs.
Complete tire bay scheduling data and documentation for sales and service orders.
Comply with safety and cleanliness standards and properly use tire bay equipment.
Follow club policies and procedures and assist in other departments as needed.
Deliver member service, address and deescalate concerns, and contribute to a safe, positive, inclusive environment.
Support daily GOLD Member and Club Standards, including stocking, promotional execution, accurate signage, and clean, organized spaces.
Access and read department production and/or financial performance reporting and understand the relationship between execution and business results.
Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
