About The Position

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the club meets the member’s expectations. You will leverage digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience, and elevate associate engagement. You will also be responsible for operating cash registers, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate inventory. This role requires a strong understanding of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, and equipment operations. You will act as a brand advocate, valuing the members' experience and modeling high-quality service and products.

Requirements

  • Valid state-issued driver's license.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests.
  • Educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, and mentor new technicians.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality.
  • Utilize digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience, and elevate associate engagement.
  • Operate cash registers and process transactions.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and audit safety and compliance standards.
  • Identify member needs and assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve issues and concerns.
  • Act as a brand advocate by valuing the members' experience and modeling high-quality service and products.
