About The Position

The Therapy CNA (Therapy Aide) at Betz Nursing Home helps create a warm, supportive, homelike environment where residents’ well-being is prioritized. The role includes assisting residents with activities of daily living, offering companionship and reassurance, and supporting dignity, respect, and individualized attention. The Therapy CNA collaborates with therapy and other facility teams to provide coordinated care and demonstrates American Senior Communities’ C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The employer describes American Senior Communities as an Indiana senior-care organization with more than 100 communities, guided by its C.A.R.E. values and a commitment to improving seniors’ lives.

Requirements

• Hold a valid, current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Indiana.
• Be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and assisting with resident mobility.
• Have stamina, strength, and endurance to provide nursing services.
• Demonstrate a passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Demonstrate supportive presence, collaboration, teamwork, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Work toward a common goal of excellent resident care and contribute to a respectful, positive work environment.
• Demonstrate Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Provide residents with companionship and reassurance.
• Help foster a comforting, engaging, and homelike environment that respects residents’ dignity and individual needs.
• Work with therapy and other facility teams to support coordinated, comprehensive care.
• Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values when interacting with residents, family members, customers, and staff.
• Assist with resident mobility and provide nursing services.
