About The Position

The Therapy CNA (Therapy Aide) plays a vital role in fostering a warm, supportive, and homelike environment where residents’ well-being is prioritized. The role supports residents with activities of daily living and provides companionship and reassurance, while upholding dignity, respect, and individualized attention. The position is full-time, day shift, Tuesday through Saturday, at Allisonville Meadows.

Requirements

• Hold a valid, current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Indiana.
• Be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and assisting with resident mobility.
• Have a strong passion for geriatric nursing and a commitment to senior care excellence.
• Demonstrate supportive presence, physical stamina, collaboration, teamwork, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Provide companionship and reassurance to residents.
• Help create a comforting, engaging, and homelike atmosphere.
• Provide nursing services and assist with resident mobility.
• Collaborate with therapy and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Work with the team toward excellent resident care.
