About The Position

Genentech is hiring a field-based Therapeutic Area Manager (TAM) for NeuroImmunology in the South Texas ecosystem. The role delivers healthcare solutions to healthcare providers, clinical teams, and health systems by identifying community needs, providing clinical education, and expanding patient access to therapies. The position operates as an individual-contributor field sales role and covers Houston south to the Rio Grande Valley. Candidates are highly preferred to live in the territory; relocation benefits are not available. The TAM engages healthcare providers and multidisciplinary account teams with role-approved clinical data, on-label disease education, and therapeutic value. The role addresses operational barriers to care, including payer coverage, distribution, acquisition, reimbursement pathways, and patient assistance programs. The TAM develops and executes local ecosystem business plans, supports health equity for diverse and underserved populations, uses digital and omnichannel tools for customer interactions, shares field insights with internal partners, and collaborates with account partners to provide an integrated customer experience. The role requires adherence to compliance regulations and Genentech Operating Principles. The position requires significant driving in a company-provided or personal vehicle, prolonged periods of sitting, and may require overnight travel. Genentech may check the employee’s motor vehicle record to determine eligibility to drive for company business. The Texas-based expected salary range is $137,500–$255,300, with actual pay determined by experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors. The position is eligible for incentive compensation under the applicable plan and qualifies for company benefits.
