About The Position

The UPS Store Associate assists customers and provides exceptional service. The role includes receiving and processing packages for courier shipment and operating copiers, fax machines, binding and laminating equipment, and point-of-sale devices. The associate learns the store’s services, products, and value options to give customers accurate information and recommend solutions. This part-time position offers morning and weekend shifts, with weekend availability required. The role may offer opportunities to grow into full-time and leadership positions.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Adobe Suites, and internet proficiency.
Strong phone and communication skills, including verbal and written communication, spelling, and math.
Be prompt, dependable, and responsible.
Be able to safely lift 40 or more pounds.
Be willing and able to work 15–30 hours per week.
Be available to cover opening shifts and weekend shifts as needed.

Nice To Haves

Previous retail customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Deliver outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries.
Complete Notary certification and provide notary services to customers.
Practice good listening skills with customers, team members, and leadership.
Take ownership of customers’ shipping needs and offer viable solutions.
Learn product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends.
Operate equipment, software, and devices expertly and be willing to teach others.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
