About The Position

The UPS Store Retail Associate assists customers and delivers exceptional service in person and by phone. The associate receives and processes courier shipments and operates store equipment, including copiers, fax machines, binding and laminating equipment, and point-of-sale devices. The role involves learning the store’s services, products, and value options in order to give customers accurate information and recommend solutions. The position is part-time, with afternoon and weekend shifts, and requires availability for closing and weekend coverage as needed. It offers opportunities to grow into full-time and leadership roles.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Adobe Suites, and internet proficiency.
Strong phone, communication, verbal, written, spelling, and math skills.
Prompt, dependable, and responsible.
Able to safely lift 40 pounds or more.
Willing and able to work 15–30 hours per week.
Available to cover closing and weekend shifts as needed.
Willing to complete Notary certification.

Nice To Haves

Previous retail customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Deliver outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and respond to telephone inquiries.
Complete Notary certification and provide notary services to customers.

Operate equipment, software, and devices proficiently and be willing to teach others.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
