About The Position

Pearson VUE is hiring a part-time Test Center Administrator at its Carrollton, Texas test center at 4100 Midway Road. The position provides secure exam delivery and superior customer service in a comfortable, friendly environment. Starting pay is $17.75 per hour. The role is benefits eligible effective on the hire date.

The position is strictly part-time, scheduled for 25–30 hours per week, with an expectation to work more hours if needed. Candidates must be available for flexible shifts Monday through Saturday between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m., including about two Saturdays per month. Sunday shifts are infrequent but may be needed. Schedules are provided at least two weeks in advance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Flexibility in work hours and days.
• Beginner to intermediate experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to sit for long periods and escort candidates to and from the testing room.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 20 pounds with reasonable accommodation.
• Comfort working in a quiet testing environment, ability to hear soft voices, and ability to see details from a distance.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience proctoring or invigilating exams is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Comply with testing procedures and company policies, using careful judgment.
• Check in testing candidates, verify identification, and explain the exam process.
• Proctor or invigilate candidates during testing.
• Troubleshoot technical issues with internal departments.
• Perform light housekeeping, including vacuuming floors and sanitizing keyboards after each candidate’s examination.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
