Shreveport-Direct Sales - Territory Training & Sales Manager
About The Position
The Territory Training & Sales Manager (TTSM) is a full-time, field-based sales and customer-service role focused on installing ClearCaptions equipment in customers’ homes and training them to use the caption telephone service. The position primarily handles company-provided installation leads, with the remaining time spent generating referrals and building relationships in the local community. Customers are mostly seniors and people with hearing loss. The TTSM works independently in an assigned territory, installs and connects ClearCaptions products to customers’ existing services, explains product features, and develops referral sources through relationships with retirement communities, hearing professionals, business partners, and community organizations. The position is remote/work from home, reports to the Regional Sales Manager, and involves extensive local driving and occasional air travel. The stated earning range is $75,000–$80,000 with uncapped upside, including a $45,000 base salary.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Outside sales experience, including business-to-business and/or business-to-consumer sales.
- Valid driver’s license and personal automobile.
- Ability to travel extensively by car in the assigned region and occasionally by air.
- Ability to work from a local home office equipped with high-speed internet.
- Proficient computer skills and basic internet use.
- Comfort working with seniors and people with disabilities.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- Excellent people and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter with strong organizational and time-management skills; able to work independently and manage multiple priorities with demanding timeframes.
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues and staff to create a high-quality, results-driven, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to use discretion, make sound decisions, and maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency in MS Office and modern virtual-team communication tools such as MS Teams.

Responsibilities
- Install ClearCaptions phones and other products and connect them to customers’ existing services.
- Educate customers on how to use the phone and its features.
- Establish relationships with retirement communities and groups in the local market.
- Create, attend, and provide education at senior and other consumer events.
- Build relationships with hearing professionals and educate them about ClearCaptions caption telephone service options.
- Maintain adequate inventory of equipment and supplies to service customers.
- Create lead-generation activities and generate referrals.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers assigned in the sales territory.
- Participate in local senior citizen and hard-of-hearing organizations, events, and trade shows.
- Maintain customer and territory records using Salesforce and other company-provided tools.
- Adapt to new responsibilities and opportunities as necessary.
