About The Position

The Territory Service/Merchandising Representative services Novo Building Products products, including lumber, moulding, and millwork, in Lowe’s stores across Yorktown, Yonkers, Nanuet, and Orangeburg, New York. The role follows a regular, predetermined store call schedule and may include travel to additional stores outside the assigned territory. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The representative maintains product presentation and inventory, replenishes stock, processes damaged-product returns and credits, and helps ensure store personnel have current product and service knowledge. The role also includes evaluating product performance and opportunities, supporting store resets and special events, managing expenses according to company policy, and representing the company professionally. Requirements

High school diploma.
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Proof of current auto insurance.
Solid organization and time-management skills.
Computer skills, specifically Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Ability to work a flexible work schedule.
Selling, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in English, written and verbal.
Courtesy, diplomacy, tact, and a demonstrated ability to foster relationships based on integrity and professionalism.
Ability to travel overnight or daily to service stores.
Ability to drive to and from stores.
Ability to meet the stated physical demands, including standing and walking, bending or twisting, lifting, and pushing or pulling wheeled equipment.

Responsibilities

Travel to assigned stores on a regular, predetermined call schedule and, as needed, to additional stores outside the assigned territory.
Build and maintain strong relationships with store personnel, including store management, red vest associates, and MST personnel.
Maintain accurate inventory through focus and cycle count adjustments and by notifying customers of necessary changes when appropriate.
Maintain the appearance of company products by cleaning and culling, placing suggested orders, preparing returns and credits, and keeping point-of-purchase materials current and in place.
Provide store personnel with training on the company’s products and services.
Analyze performance, product mix, market conditions, and new product opportunities, and recommend changes when appropriate.
Facilitate store reset activity with the NHC Store Planning Team as required.
Participate in special events such as grand openings, contractor nights, product knowledge training, and company meetings.
Stock assigned replenishment orders within 48 hours of delivery to the store and stock additional stores as needed.
Manage expenses according to corporate policies and procedures.
Represent the company with high standards of conduct, professionalism, courtesy, ethics, and a can-do attitude.
