About The Position

American First Finance is seeking a motivated, results-driven Territory Sales Representative to expand the company’s market presence and cultivate merchant partnerships in the assigned territory. The role offers on-target earnings comprising base salary and commission, with uncapped earning potential. The representative develops merchant relationships, builds a sales pipeline, visits stores in person, and meets sales targets. Regular travel within the territory is required.

Requirements

At least 1 year of proven success in B2B outside sales, consistently achieving measurable sales goals.
Motivation and a performance-driven approach, with a desire to exceed expectations.
Strong organizational skills, integrity, and professionalism.
Face-to-face selling experience and excellent negotiation and closing skills.
Self-starter mindset and ability to independently build and manage a sales pipeline.
Ability to collaborate with internal teams.
Valid driver’s license and car insurance for regular travel within the assigned territory.

Nice To Haves

Extensive experience in retail consumer finance, merchant services, or SaaS.

Responsibilities

Develop and grow merchant relationships through consistent engagement and strong customer satisfaction.
Build and manage a pipeline of quality prospects within the assigned territory.
Visit 8–10 stores in person each day and secure 10 or more new merchant partners each month.
Meet or exceed sales targets and take accountability for performance and results.
Use AFF CRM tools to track interactions, manage leads, and optimize sales strategies.
Collaborate with internal Marketing, Training, and Sales Operations teams to drive business success.
