Territory Manager – Acute Care & Monitoring
About The Position
Medtronic is hiring an experienced Territory Manager for its Acute Care & Monitoring business, based in Sydney, New South Wales. The role covers Camperdown, Southwestern Sydney, Newcastle, Maitland, and regional areas including Albury/Wodonga, Wagga Wagga, and Tamworth. Acute Care & Monitoring develops technologies and solutions related to blood oxygen management, respiratory compromise, and perioperative complications. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Territory Manager will promote and sell products and services, develop customer relationships, provide clinical education and support, and work toward sales targets. The role requires travel of up to 25%.
Requirements
- High school diploma and at least 6 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience in medical device sales or a clinical setting.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
- Valid driver’s licence.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in an ICU or Neonatal ICU, Operating Theatre, or Emergency Department.
Responsibilities
- Promote, educate, and sell products and services within an assigned geographic area or customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Understand customer needs and offer credible alternatives that support mutually beneficial outcomes for customers and the company.
- Develop, build, and strengthen long-term relationships with stakeholders to sell Acute Care & Monitoring consumables and capital equipment.
- Provide education, training, and case support to clinical end users and hospital staff.
- Manage customer queries professionally.
- Follow up promptly and resolve customer or patient technical and product issues, including providing after-hours support when needed.
- Maintain a high level of product and technical knowledge.
- Understand competitive products and assess their features and strengths in relation to the company’s products.
- Gather market intelligence on customer and competitor activities through observation, discussion, or research.
- Implement market development plans and strategies, adjusting them as needed.
