Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of outside sales and/or equipment experience
  • Proven historical sales and revenue generating success
  • Ability to prepare and deliver efficient customized sales proposals and presentations to professionals at all levels
  • Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills both in one-on-one and group settings
  • Proficient with computer technology
  • Service First mentality: driven to support customers with exceptional solutions.
  • Relationship Builder: ability to get to know customers, their equipment, and their business, build rapport and trust, and provide information and solutions.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: strong understanding of equipment lineup, familiar with customer needs, managing expectations, leveraging customer insights to identify business opportunities and strategies, not afraid to prospect with cold calls.
  • Ambassador: represent the company, lead by example, personify corporate values, leave customers and suppliers with a positive impression, available to customers when needed.
  • Vigilance: report customer satisfaction, trends and other useful information to parts and service supervisors.
  • Tech savvy: comfortable with learning new software and ability to communicate with technicians and customers regarding equipment.
  • Diligence: champion for consistently staying in the lines, detail-oriented, developed personal systems for organizing work, ensuring follow-up, and a stickler for accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Providing information about the products and services of the company to customers to increase sales.
  • Developing or maintaining long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Working closely with the Branch Manager to develop sales programs and strategies to attain annual budget targets.
  • Reporting customer satisfaction, trends and other useful information to parts and service supervisors.
  • Developing rapport with customers and being the eyes and ears of the branch.
  • Completing any additional tasks or projects as requested.
