About The Position

The Territory Manager - Surgical is responsible for clinical support of Bioventus’s Ultrasonic product portfolio in a designated region. The role focuses on surgical solutions in Spine and Neuro and supports patient outcomes through the use of the company’s ultrasonic technology. This remote-based sales position is based in Atlanta, Georgia, and involves time in hospital operating rooms, surgery centers, and physician offices. The Territory Manager develops territory and account business, achieves sales targets, launches new technologies, and provides clinical support during product evaluations. The role collaborates with Regional Managers and distributors and participates in training, labs, trade shows, and conventions.

Requirements

Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.
At least 2–3 years of B2B sales, operating room, surgical, or medical device sales experience.
For internal applicants: at least 1 year as an ATM with Bioventus and 6–12 months of equivalent sales experience prior to that role.
Valid driver’s license in one of the 50 United States.
Exceptional customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills, including proper phone etiquette.
Computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
A sense of responsibility, ownership, and accountability.
Sound decision-making, judgment, and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team environment.
Hunter mentality and ability to develop a territory.
Successful sales track record, including territory development.

Responsibilities

Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly quotas at 100% or higher.
Maintain working knowledge of all Ultrasonic products.
Prospect and secure new account opportunities.
Cross-sell and upsell to expand account business and support capital sales.
Launch new technologies in the assigned territory.
Drive regional sales in existing accounts and penetrate targeted accounts.
Help coordinate and conduct in-services for surgeons, operating room staff, and Sterile Processing before evaluations.
Provide onsite clinical support to accounts during the evaluation process.
Work with Regional Managers and distributors to implement the strategic sales model.
Assist with labs, trade shows, training, and convention activities.
Successfully complete all required product- and sales-related training curriculum.
Complete special projects assigned by upper management.
