About The Position

Toast is hiring a locally based field sales professional to help restaurants succeed using Toast technology. The Territory Account Executive will prospect and build relationships with restaurateurs in the Philly, Pennsylvania suburbs, understand each prospect’s needs, and develop customized solutions. Candidates must live locally in the territory or be willing to relocate. The role includes uncapped commissions and a stated total targeted cash compensation range of $128,000–$205,000 USD. Starting salary depends on skills, experience, and geographic location; benefits and equity may also be included if eligible.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in a sourcing or closing sales role, restaurant operations, or a related field and industry.
Reliable transportation; mileage will be reimbursed.
Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills, with the ability to sell and negotiate at all decision-making levels.
A proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, team environment.
Self-motivation, creativity, and flexibility.
General technical proficiency with software.
Must live locally in the Philly, PA suburbs territory or be willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

Generate a list of prospective restaurants and manage the sales cycle from initial call through close.
Conduct demonstrations and develop solutions that best meet prospects’ needs.
Partner with teams across the business to ensure that expectations set during the sales process are met in delivery.
Use Salesforce to manage sales activities.
Understand the competitive landscape and determine how to position Toast in the market.
