About The Position

Arkansas Federal Credit Union is seeking a Teller to serve as a member advocate and financial expert, helping members achieve their financial goals. The role uses a proven methodology to engage members in meaningful conversations, understand their financial needs, and connect them with suitable products and services. Tellers build positive relationships and earn member trust to support long-term connections while managing transactions and referring members and nonmembers to financial service representatives.

Requirements

At least 7 months of related customer service experience.
At least a high school diploma or equivalent.
Technological proficiency.
Knowledge of financial industry models and products.
Friendly, conversational, and trustworthy manner.
Passion for and sincere concern for others.

Responsibilities

Build positive relationships with members and earn their trust to support long-term connections.
Efficiently manage teller transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
Understand Arkansas Federal products and services to enhance the member experience.
Refer members and nonmembers to Financial Service Representatives and Senior Financial Service Representatives.
Engage members in conversations to understand their financial needs and connect them with appropriate products and services.
