About The Position

As a Teller at Arkansas Federal Credit Union, you serve as an advocate and financial expert, helping members work toward their financial goals. The primary focus is using the credit union’s methodology to have meaningful conversations that reveal members’ financial needs and help connect them with suitable products and services. You build positive relationships and member trust, process teller transactions efficiently, understand Arkansas Federal’s products and services, and refer members and nonmembers to Financial Service Representatives and Senior Financial Service Representatives.

Requirements

At least 7 months of related customer service experience.
At least a high school diploma or equivalent.
Technological proficiency.
Knowledge of financial industry models and products.
Friendly, conversational, trustworthy, passionate, and sincerely concerned for others.

Responsibilities

Build positive relationships and earn member trust to retain long-term connections.
Efficiently manage teller transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
Understand Arkansas Federal products and services to enhance the member experience.
Refer members and nonmembers to Financial Service Representatives and Senior Financial Service Representatives.
Engage members in meaningful conversations to understand their financial needs and connect them with appropriate products and services.
